Webinar Series 2 of 4

Digital Badges: How Can Students Show Their Academic Achievement?

Join us for a complimentary webinar on:
Thursday, Jan. 14, 3:00 pm (Eastern)

Let's get a great start to the new year by celebrating all that your students have learned!

Academic badges are mini-credentials that let students show what they know. In any class, badges reward students for their accomplishments. In this unusual year, students are progressing at different rates. Some students may have had more trouble with online learning - but badges can provide recognition of what they have accomplished.

Join us for this month's webinar on Digital Badges for Academic Achievement. You will learn strategies for getting started with badges, including:

  • Defining an academic badge by focusing on the most important standards in your topic;
  • Engaging students as they earn badges by collecting their best work in each subject;
  • Personalizing your existing assessments to let each student demonstrate standards, while showing who they are as individual learners;
  • Fulfilling your portrait of a graduate by linking student work across subject areas to your vision; badges let your students demonstrate who they are as communicators, community members, or lifelong learners.

This session is the second of our four-part webinar series, each focusing on one pillar of Digital Badges: Personal Skills and Social Growth, Academic Achievement, College and Career Readiness, and Extracurricular Activities. Each pillar will be covered in a 30-minute webinar, with recordings available to everyone who registers.

Sign up and join the conversation. You will have a chance to ask questions and share ideas about how you can make this happen in your school. We are looking forward to a great conversation!

Register here for Digital Badges for Academic Achievement on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, 3:00 pm (Eastern).
